While mum and dad were here Harry took dad and Harrison to see the Texas Rangers play. Us girls stayed home and watch Marley and Me.

Well if you had asked me this time last year how I was enjoying moving from my little house in Bundoora to this house in Texas I would have burst into tears! I was not a big fan of change. But as i sit and reflect on the past 12 months of my life I am glad that we made the decision. The move has made my family closer. This is our Barclay Journey one year on.

In the morning we headed to the Country Music Hall of Fame. I have a real appreication for Country Music since living in Texas. This place was amazing! All of the history they have preserved.

The piano behind is was Elvis' favorite. He would play it for hours before recording. He wanted to buy it but they talked him out of it.
There were quite a bit of damage from the storm. All the cars in the streets had huge dints over them. And there have been a number of houses with new roofs!

Happy Birthday to you,

Like I said "Everything is bigger in Texas"! Even the torches. Dad's face just lit up!

Home in time for a beer and a fish in the back yard.

While I cooked a Texan favorite! Steak and a fully loaded baked potato!!
